Human Space Series

Books in the Human Space Series

In Rise of the Coalition, humanity’s rival superstates face a new political force as smaller worlds unite under a fragile alliance that threatens to change the balance of power. In Unity Protocol, that alliance is tested when alien forces approach, and humanity must decide whether it can truly stand together—or fall apart when it matters most.

The Forging of Trust

Book 0.5

Before the Coalition, there was only fragile trust.
In a divided political world, young leader Thomas Jane must unite rivals who would rather betray each other than cooperate.
Every choice risks failure—and every mistake helps shape the future of human space.

Rise of the Coalition

Book 1

As smaller systems begin to unite, the great powers of human space grow uneasy. Spies move, alliances crack, and war looms.
Thomas Jane wants peace, not dominance - but his rising Coalition becomes the prize everyone wants or the threat everyone must destroy.
As fleets gather and assassinations ignite old rivalries, humanity must decide what this new power truly is: a dream of peace, or the start of a new war.

Unity Protocol

Book 2

Humanity believes the war is over. It is wrong.
Strange signals and a growing dark zone point to a new threat. While politics stall, a peaceful alien intelligence - the Orbs - warn of a coming storm they cannot stop.
As another, hostile force advances, humanity’s survival will depend on one thing: unity.

In a future where humanity is divided among powerful superstates, a quiet political shift begins to unsettle the balance of power. As smaller systems start aligning into a new coalition, the giants of human space grow uneasy—watching, spying, and preparing for conflict. Thomas Jane, an idealistic but reluctant leader, finds himself at the center of this transformation. He doesn’t seek war or dominance—only a better way to govern. But ambition attracts enemies. Assassinations, betrayals, and secret alliances ignite old rivalries, and the fragile peace between great powers begins to fracture. As fleets mobilize and refugees flee systems on the brink of war, forces no one fully understands begin moving in the shadows. The newborn Coalition must decide what it truly is: a dream of peace—or the first spark of a war that will reshape humanity.

The Human Space Series Main Characters

Thomas Jane

Founder and leader of the Coalition. He rises from local politics to becoming the central architect of a new interstellar order. Charismatic, idealistic, and strategic, he balances dreams of prosperity and unity with ruthless realism when survival is at stake. He plans far ahead, often appearing to improvise while secretly executing long-prepared strategies.

Alex

Thomas Jane’s closest ally and operative. He handles covert actions, manipulation, and destabilization of rival powers. Emotionally dependent on Thomas, he sees him as a guide and anchor. Though capable of morally dark acts, he is deeply loyal and struggles with guilt and identity. He helped build the Coalition from its earliest days.

Suzann

Thomas’s chief aide and emotional equal. Calm, disciplined, and commanding, she controls access to Thomas and often shapes major decisions. She is secretly tied to the mysterious advanced human offshoot society and once abandoned a royal role to defend humanity. Both romantic and political partner to Thomas.

George Norwell

Former U.S. president who later becomes a major political figure within the Coalition. Ambitious, bitter, and driven, he wants power again but is also capable of serving a greater cause. He becomes the Coalition’s public voice and propaganda strategist, valued for his ability to sway opinion.

John Marshall

Unknown traveler with great resources and key ally of Thomas. He pushes Thomas to unite humanity not just politically but against a coming alien threat. Calm, cryptic, and blunt, he provides advanced technology and strategic pressure while hiding much of what he knows.

Jackie

Coalition military and logistics commander. She manages fleet readiness, analyzes threats, and designs defensive strategy. Practical and steady, she often delivers the hardest truths about enemy strength and timelines.

Darius

Political leader of Antaglia after Thomas leaves local government. He manages economic power and production for the Coalition. Passionate and outspoken, he often doubts risky plans but ultimately trusts Thomas’s vision.

Xin Liu

Leader of the Chino state. Ruthless, calculating, and theatrical, he uses assassination and manipulation to justify war. He knowingly allows political murder to spark conflict, using chaos as a strategic tool.

Michail Stutin

Dictator of Slavia. Cold, menacing, and obsessed with dominance, he rules through fear and manipulation. He pressures subordinates into deadly mistakes and is willing to destabilize humanity if it increases his control.

Ryan Batone

Youngest U.S. president. Torn between survival and integrity, he risks impeachment to join the Coalition. Idealistic but politically naive, he is manipulated by rivals yet determined to do what he believes is right for humanity.
